Overall, I am impressed with the results I obtained in using Liquid RV roof on my trailer. It was MUCH easier than replacing the membrane with new, and seems to have repaired my leaking roof, extending the life of my RV, as at some point, the cost of reroofing would exceed the RV’s value.
Thanks in advance!
My roof was in bad shape. I cleaned it and kept after it a few times a year. We bought the RV used, and there were signs of neglect when we bought it. It had been obviously sitting in the sun for an extended period of time without any care or maintenance.
I was about to buy a sheet of EPDM and forego the labor intensive and very expensive task of replacing the sheet roof. Then I saw a video on Youtube for Liquid EPDM. So the research began. "This looks too good to be true", I thought to myself. But all the videos and customer testimonials couldn't be made up they came from so many different people.
So I decided to pull the trigger.
Ordered 6 gallons on a Thursday evening.
They were at my door Saturday morning. Already impressed by this product/company.
So application day came. I used all the tips and answers I found on the outstanding Q-A part of the webpage and put them to use.
I removed vent covers and cleaned the roof, as directed, with Dawn and bleach (2 cups for every gallon of water).
I mixed the 1 gallon first, to "cut in". Mixing took longer than stated, but I'm fine with that. I started at an easy area to get a feel for the product.
It brushes on fairly easy for being a thicker product. I used a thin, 4" roller for the areas under the roof rack.
Coverage from the 1 gallon did all the edges, under the roof rack, and some of the flat area.
Again, mixing the 5 gallon took a lot longer than stated, but again, I'm fine with that.
It spreads and rolls out pretty easy.
It's been a week now, and there were 2 areas I had concern about. 1 area had some "spider web" type cracking that has gone away with curing just like they said it would.
The other area had some air bubbles as soon as it was installed. They popped and left little pits in the coating. It appears now, a week later, that those pits are also dissipating as the roof cures. There is a lot of pollen on the roof, so I'm hoping that washes off easy and everything is good under it.
So far, I'm extremely happy with this product.
I love the fact you can go right over the edges and vent areas and make it a 1 piece roof.
Now you guys need to come up with and easy repair for oxidized fiberglass.
- fast shipping
- ease of application
- covers edges and seals roof in 1 piece
- lots of videos and information on web site
- standard tools for application are available at any hardware store
- can be applied in a few hours
TIPS FOR OTHER USERS
- mixing time is greatly understated in instructions
- 5 gallon can is heavy to carry up ladder
- strong odor when applying
Thank you for a great product.
- make sure roof is clean
- when moving to a new section, make sure that section is clean. I used a blow gun as I moved, and still have dirt.
- use a heavy duty drill when mixing
- have a helper to poor the catalyst in
- don't follow the time on the instructions for mixing
- if you are doing this in 1 day and don't have a helper to clean tools, buy 2 mixers.
- I didn't tape anywhere, but I wish I would have taped the skylight
- expect bugs to become a permanent part of your roof
- don't buy the very expensive tools. more than likely, you will be throwing them away
- have multiple pairs of gloves ready
- even if you don't have a question, read through the q-a section on the website.
- if you have a question and don't see the answer, ask it. they respond quickly
- clean the vent covers while you have them off
- if possible, use a rope to pull the 5 gallon can up to the roof
I was able to quickly find the 4 pictures I took after I patched the roof. I will continue to look for the before pictures, We have a flat roof with a channel down the middle that leads into a drain pipe system that has been our weak point area all along. Then we installed a sky light which was like adding gasoline to a fire. For years I was blaming the sky light that we installed. We even replaced portions of the sky light and sealed around it many times. We added more tar on top of tar but still leaked Then I decided to buy the Liquid EPDM liquid rubber product. Your instructions emphasized to remove lose gravel and clean the dirt away. I used a leaf blower to blow away the dust, man what a dust cloud. That when I was able to expose alligator type cracks in the tar that were not visible. So with the Proflex Primer and Liquid EPDM product I was able to bond the EPDM rubber mat material to the stone and tar part of the roof. This year I intend to attack (seal) those cracks by extending the EPDM coating further down the channel and up the sides
Thanks for having this product on the market

The epdm rubber roof was easy to work with. I am very pleased after having a leaky roof that will be good for many years to come. Roof had mold on it so we first killed the mold with Clorox and water and scrubbed I down and then cleaned the roof with Dawn dish detergent.
Attached are the before and after pictures.
Staff at EPDM Coatings,
My 29, RV had a couple leaks, at the front where the aluminum and rubber roof came together under a molding, and under the radio antenna. I purchased the 5 gallon bucket. I mixed as directed, then poured mixed product into another clean bucket, scraped it clean, and mixed a few more minutes. After preparation, I applied the liquid rubber around all edges and roof fixtures, I poured small amounts out of the bucket onto the roof and distributed with squeegee or roller as needed, until product was gone and the roof was well coated. I have no doubts that my leaks are eliminated. Excellent coverage. It will roll on easier than using a brush. We had 2" of rain the following day. My troubled area was dry as I knew it would be. The product seems expensive, but considering the cost of a replacement roof and the problems solved, it is well worth it and adds value to your roof. One of the pictures shows the trouble area at the front, which currently has a small pool of water. No leaks!
A few things to consider when using this product.
- It tends to string when using a brush, squeegee, paint roller, or pouring from the bucket. This is only a concern if you have vehicles parked nearby on a breezy day. The breeze will catch the fine strings and carry them to adjacent surfaces.
- Have a second back-up broom handle for your roller. I broke the tip off of the first one at the roller, and had to go find another.
- Wear shoes that can be discarded afterward.
- WD-40 works well to remove the rubber from skin when finished.
- If you mask any area, be sure to leave a tab of tape sticking up for easy removal, and do so before rubber begins to skin over.
I am very pleased with the results, and will share my experience.
My name is Jeremy Berkheimer and I purchased the liquid roof coating earlier this spring. I am attaching the before and after photos of my 38 sandpiper roof. This coating was awesome. It took some real cleaning before hand and a I got a bit of extra exercise spreading it but the finished product seems well worth it. Thanks!
Please find attached before and after photos for my camper roof. I forgot to snap a pic of the before, so I had already started applying the Proflex primer when I took the picture. You can still see the condition of the roof though!
Also, the after pic was after the newly coated roof endured it's first rainfall.
I completed my project and it was much easier than I thought, I wish I had done this years ago, and glad I chose this coating versus the other offerings out there.
I will send you 2 more emails, this is the start of cleaning, next is primer, the third is the coating. Hope they are worth of a gift card.
EPDM is amazing. My RV roof was a disaster. I have been battling leaks for a few years now and no other product would stop the leaks or even last more than a few months. Everything else would peel up after awhile. I used the EPDM with the primer. It rained a week later. Zero leaks! The product goes on easy and covers well. No cracks no bubbles. I am very satisfied and would recommend this product to anyone. The are so many products out there and skepticism runs high. Your company and the product did everything it said it would.
Just a great product, went on easy and looks great.
Just completed my 35 Bus, cut in the rap around sides and around the ACs and vents.
Spent the hardest time on cleaning and prep. If you are looking for a product to seal your RV stop looking !!!!

Let me tell you this stuff if fantastic. I replaced my roof several years ago and white rubber was not available at the supply company, it was out of stock and I had to replace the rubber as I had ripped the old off. The black rubber made it miserable in here.
I did a lot of research looking for a good quality coating that would last and hold up to the elements. I found your product and was convinced, so I ordered and have now applied.
I did not take a full before picture but 1 as I was applying the product. Let me tell you a couple things:
- If possible do not park under a tree
- Do not apply if the wind is going to pick up
- Wear old shoe or shoe covers and gloves
As you can see in the photos, the tree was dropping leaves and acorns. The roller was used for back rolling. the coating sure does show up all the imperfections in the roof. the photo with out all the leaves was taken immediately after completion. the one with leaves was taken after the roof was dry
5000 sq ft concrete roof. Prep work consisted of power wash of roof and preparation of seams as see in “before” picture. Approximately 7 sets of ProFlex primer was used and 28 Pails of Liquid EPDM Rubber. Cost per sq ft approx. $1.66 . Life expectancy is 18-20 before a recoat is needed.
Here are the photos, three before, during and after per your request:
I will say that your product surpassed our expectations and saved us a huge $7,000 new roof cost. We had no leaks and but were informed during a free roof inspection that we needed a new roof by a local rv establishment. I discovered your website and bought your products just to be on the safe side. We applied the primer as well as the liquid roof. It is definitely something that both genders are able to do as evidenced by the photos of me on the roof. The roof looks great and I feel confident that we have many years of a non leaking roof ahead of us!
Thanks again for your help in the process
I wanted you to know I researched the product before I spent the $500 on primer and roofing material and went ahead and pulled the trigger and bought it. It went on so easily on a Sunday afternoon. It began raining overnight and the forecast is rain all week. I went out to the pop up this a.m. and the rain is just rolling off, even though the roof is still tacky. I am confident with your warranty that event though it is raining that it will cure in time. I love not having to tarp our pop up now since the roof on it was 50% gone from wind that got under it. I love the ease of installation and the look of the new roof.
Thank you so much, and I look forward to doing business with you again.
Resort Property (Mexico)
Project involved 7 Buildings of which 6 were typical and one slightly larger. Roofs were approx. 5500 square feet. Total square footage of the project was 50,000. Buildings are 8 years old and due to Existing single ply Torch on failure and substrate failure, all roofs were removed and new concrete poured to accept EPDM product. Proper slopes were incorporated in new roof design including proper drainage and scupper installations. Project is located 30 miles North Of Manzanillo Mexico on the west coast. Units are on the Ocean and subjected to high humidity, sea salt and heavy rains in July to October especially. A six man crew was required as they worked in pairs to complete tasks. AC enclosures and penetrations were started 1 hour before rollers were started. Crews were coordinated to work areas together to keep materials fresh. Pails were mixed as they were required. Total time from start to finish was 4.5 hours. No thinners were used and rollers and applications were performed as per manufacturers instructions.
Note crews were experienced in torch on applications and painting as they are part of our full time maintenance crew during the years. EPDM materials was fairly easy to work with. We adjusted our application based on temperature expectations and humidity forecasts. We started early in the mornings and were usually completed around 11:00 A.M. We mixed the pails as we required them, as we found as the day heated up in Mexico, the application time was allowing us approx. 1 hour before we were noticing tacking.
There was major prep to the buildings and once prep was 100% to our satisfaction, the EPDM was very easy to install.
As I have used other products in the past, I am very impressed with the EPDM product for its apparent quality. The end product is very solid and appears to have strong adhesion. We had minor bubbling , however as gases dissipated the bubbles settled down. I have asked our manager to take pictures of the complex to try to get most of the buildings in one picture.

Good morning Guys Adam here from Best Western!
We just wanted to say thank you for these great products. We had been having roof leaks on an EPDM roof which were previously, a very temporarily fixed with FlexSeal. After we applied the primer / liquid rubber solution to these areas the leaks stopped, and the rubber is adhering very well to the existing roof. We've also attached before and after pictures for you to use as you wish, as well as for the complimentary $25 AMEX card offer we saw on the receipt.
I work at a paper mill In Franklin Virginia, which at the start was a small lumber mill. In the later part of 1930 it became a paper mill. So a lot of the buildings here are flat roofs. Most have been upgraded to either vinyl or rubber membrane style roofs. As a planner, I have had the option to try various products on repairs to these roofs. To little or no avail have I been very successful till now. Price has never been of much importance to me, However results are vital.
After trying numerous products claiming long lasting results, I found many of your competitors claims untrue. I have read your products specifications, uses, and applications. Seemingly so, I wanted to use EPDM COATINGS a try. I had a small project. A membrane on a high traffic roof. Had sagging issues from standing water. A few small sections where the vinyl/rubber has torn and separated.
With minimal effort, following the specific instructions for the application of the EPDM LIQUID RUBBER was applied. The results, lets just say I placed my second order of EPDM LIQUID RUBBER today. This coating in my own personal opinion is worth the money you spend. I am pleased with the results. This coating is holding up very well on this high traffic roof. Carts roll over the repairs, people walk over the repairs. We just had three days of thunderstorms in a row. Where all the other products I have tried failed. EPDM LIQUID RUBBER has held true to their claims. It really works.
Your product is the greatest. I love my new roof. Anybody that would come up to me and needs a new roof for their RV it is a no-brainer to go with EPDM coatings. I can not thank you guys enough.

I just wanted to tell you that you sell the best RV roofing product that I have come across in my 60 years. I also would like to tell you that this beautiful spirited lady represented your company with such positive attitude and pleasant voice made my day.
She replied to both of my phone calls very fast and answered all my questions. She along with your companies "Liquid Roof" product just make me want to tell all my RV friends (and I plan on telling everyone).
Adrian was so nice to me,I called because I bought a 4 gallon pail to coat the EPDM roof on my 5th Wheel RV,I had though that I had a 4-6 hour pot life after mixing--but hear in Arizona I found out that that 4-6 hour is 2-2.5 hours because of the low humidity and warmer outdoor temperature. I ended up only using about 1 gallon before the product became to tacky to spread,so I ended up throwing out about 3 gallons. (my fault). I had called to see if I could save it ,but Adrian was nice and explained that once its gone its gone and it can't be thinned.
Anyway,. I am still going to use your Great product I will just have to order another 3 gallons. I had a company for over 20 years and I wish I had people like Adrian working for me.She is a terrific person and and a great person representing your company when (Big Dummy's like me) mess up and call.
Thanks you for taking the time to read my feedback.
Sincerely, Mr.Michael L. Tucson,Arizona
I ordered the RV Liquid Roof to cover the roof on my 28-foot Class C motorhome. I was not the first owner, the previous owner had done some repairs to the roof but the old sealant used was failing and the roof was starting to leak. I took advantage of a nicer day this winter and cleaned and coated the roof.
Applying it was really easy, I would pour some on the roof, then use a roller to move the coating by building a "wave" ahead of the roller to push the coating into the places I wanted "a little extra" coating, then rolled the rest out from that. To get the edges, I simply rolled the coating to the edge and "just over" onto the edge of the rain cap. A couple of hours of work, and I was done.
What a difference!
Its been cooler here but one thing I have noticed in addition to no leaks from the roof - our furnace is not running as often! Previously it would turn on 3-4 times per hour, now it turns on 2-3 times per hour. Not a huge change but it helps our propane last longer! I would not say that this is a miracle coating, but it comes close!

Our roof if now complete. As you know this was a two year project. We have a 25,000 ft roof with numerous other coatings on it. 25% built up with at least 4 coats of elastomeric and 25% metal with a Dicor product that we kept reapplying and the other 50% original metal. We tackled the first two parts using your proflex primer and then the liquid epdm rubber. After two years it passed with flying colors we did the job ourselves so I am sure it took longer than it needed but we were extremely relieved and a little surprised that the roof did not leak the first winter after application. Normally that is when we encounter our leaks due to the expansion and contraction of the metal against the coatings. You sales manager will remember me for sure because I was highly skeptical with yet another product claiming to end all roof leaks and also that yours was not so reasonable. To any customers reading this here is a valuable money lesson I learned; if you need brain surgery find the best doctor you do not want to repeat that operation. This is true for my roof for years we kept spending money on top of money for cheap coatings not to mention my staff time up on the roof. This liquid epdm is not cheap but after my lesson do you really want a CHEAP roof product? I basically spend $1.28 per square foot with this product and over the past 5 years over $5.75 with the other products. Hope this helps those out there with the same situation we were in. Sorry guys I did promise pictures but we can't seem to find them.
My initial feedback is that the stuff is excellent. A real money saver for me as the leaking roof on my 1985 Coachman was making the RV nearly unusable. It did thicken a bit faster than I thought, and it hasn't rained on the roof yet, so my glowing review is only preliminary. So, at this point your product is batting a thousand. My motorhome is 23' long and +/- 10' wide, but one gallon nearly covered the entire roof, which was leaking like a head wound. I'll take a few pics of the uncovered portion and the covered end, then send them to you. The product may have added years of life to a very old RV.
I put your primer and finish coat on and it is holding up like iron. my trailer roof was a 1974 18 feet long. pealing real bad. I cleaned it and primed it and finshed coated it in one day . I am a retired painter best product for the money I have ever used thank you scott
My 1998 Overland Lorado motor home has an EPDM roof that is showing its age.
Chalking and small cracks are evident and the roof has had numerous repairs by the previous three owners. I researched roof coatings on the internet and concluded that Liquid Roof was the best product for restoring the roof.
I live in Boston and have trees overhanging my driveway so I decided to apply the Liquid Roof while in Tucson Arizona while staying in a RV resort.
I ordered 8 gallons on Monday and it arrived on Friday, much faster than I expected. I bought the tools at local stores (paint brushes, roller, squeegee, wire brush and cleaning supplies). I found the Instructions and You Tube videos helpful in planning the project. Preparing the roof took about 10 hours (cleaning, brushing, patching with butyl tape and taping edges). Applying Liquid Roof took about 6 hours and most of the time in the mixing and painting the edges using a brush. I found a hand held 12 squeegee worked well in the tights areas of a motor home roof. This was a one man job and can be done by someone with moderate home handyman skills. The roof looks great and I expecting many years of added life with no leaks.
Thanks for your help.
I am sending this email to sing the praises of Liquid Rubber. My husband died in 2009 of brain cancer just before his retirement leaving me with all of the home maintenance projects he had planned on completing in his retirement. Re-coating our mobile home roof was one such major project. I tackled the project in the same manner I had watched my do it yourself husband complete tasks all his life. I started out at Home Depot and Lowes examining what was available and asking a lot of questions. Our small motor homes roof needed to be re-coated also, and I thought I would start with that to gain confidence and to make sure I was indeed capable of completing the task of the larger project of the mobile home roof. At the home improvement stores I was met with skepticism, encouragement, and amazement. Next, I went online to check out some blogs on people re-coating mobile home and motor home roofs (that strategy I learned from my son) and discovered most were saying the same thing: Liquid Roof is the best. Finding it was not sold in stores, I ordered gallons from you to re-coat the motor home and plunged in. My brother helped me by removing all caulking, patching a ripped portion of the roof, and holding the drill to mix the chemical in the Liquid Rubber, with my father in his 80s pouring in the chemical as I held the gallon can during the mixing. As you can see by the pictures, the motor home roof looks fantastic, the liquid roofing was amazing to work with, my confidence soared and I began work on the mobile home roof with the order of more gallon cans. My main concern was to get the highly weathered edges coated as quickly as possible, and I did complete that project before my father became ill with bladder cancer and my time was invested in caring for him in my home, and then in a nearby long term home before his death in November. Now I am again undertaking the challenge of working on the roof. I am about to order 5 gallon buckets to cover the entire surface. I still have to ascertain how to get the heavy buckets up to the roof but shall find a process eventually. I took these photos of the motor home before and after as your website offered a monetary discount for sending in pictures. I see that it now has changed to video. However, I was glad that I did take the before and after pictures and I could not resist sending these photos anyway, with the tale of the lady and what seems to you a small and simple project, but what seems to me a completely intimidating and overwhelming project that I am able to complete because of the easy application and wonderful leveling aspect of your fantastic product Liquid Rubber! Thank you!
Pam from Nevada
Well what can I say the product everything Greg said it would. We have both epdm roof and metal roof about 7500 all in all. Roof looks great we will send pics soon. I was just astonished how easy it went down and as we were rolling it the roller marks jus disappeared. I left the guys there and came back about 3 hours later. They knocked out about 2500 sq ft. and it literally looked like someone put down a 2500 single pieces of material. I wanted to wait a few months until I gave you my feedback and I can say this is the first time in 7 years the client is telling us his roof did not lead during the winter months. We will be ordering more in the spring. I think we will be migrating our coating product over to the Liquid epdm.
No, I do not mind at all that you use my testimonial on your website.. I hope it reaches other RVers out there who are being misled towards single stage applications that do not last. I received the Liquid Roof today that was ordered Saturday.. GREAT SHIPPING TIME !!!!! The coating will be applied on Sat. and will also be videoed from start to finish and a follow up video and testimony on the Liquid Roof. I also got my boss to order a 5 GAL. kit for his RV. [William Anderson] I will also video that process. My name is Doug Klem and I will be doing the application.. I have 15 years in yacht restoration and was astonished that people I met here in the RV park where I now live were using a single part coating on there rooves and recoating twice a year.. That"s when I got on the internet and found EPDM.. From all my years of working with coatings I know single stage coatings don't hold up.. I guarantee that if I am satisfied with Liquid Roof you can expect many more orders... Thanks and I will be in touch... 850-417-9195
We Received your 1 gallon jug yesterday. Today I reviewed a few of your YouTube videos, I followed them and was amazed how easy it was to apply. My RV is 4 1/2 years old and I developed a small leak, so I decided to seal up all the openings on the roof. It took me a little over and hour, start to finish. It applied so easy and has now relieved my fears of more water coming into my RV. I also love the fact that everything needed was in the box. Awesome product!!!

EPDM is an awesome product and everything that is described on their website. We encountered a leak on our 22 travel trailer and Googled roofing products. We found the Rubber Roof from EPDM and had to try it based on all the information and testimonials. We completed the prep, taped off all sides for spillage, and proceeded with the squeegee and roller (be sure the roller is low nap). After installing the product we had bubbles. We contacted EPDM and they stated the bubbles would disappear during curing. Sure enough, they disappeared. Good thing, as we applied another thin layer to the front and back where the siding and roof meet, as we had removed all of the old caulking and applied new caulk, before applying the Liquid Roof. The roof looks fantastic and we will now have many more summer camping trips ahead. Thank you for such a reputable outstanding product.
EPDM "Liquid Roof" was effective in eliminating the leaks in my RV roof. I had water intrusion that I was continually trying to remedy with other products. This effort proved to be ineffective. I discovered Liquid Roof, and really did not know any others who had experience with this product. Our local RV Store only sold emulsion based sealers and could only comment that EPDM is "expensive". It took a late and prolonged rainy season to finally convince me to try "Liquid Roof".
Once ordered, the product arrived in 5 business days without issue. Surface preparation was the lion's share of the project. Removal of the oxidized rubber from the existing roof was accomplished by brooming/brushing, air compressor, and finally and acetone wipe. Overall time to prep my RV approximately 8 hrs. Mixing the product went without issue. Application was simple and took less than 1 hour for a 27' RV. The product does produce fumes that are heavier than air. Fumes were noticable while working on the roof, but were quite noticable on the ground (and in the house, so be sensitive to the family!). Cleanup consisted of wiping down tools with mineral spirits. I just threw the roller pad and paint brush away...
Within 24hrs of application we received ~1/2" of rain and no water was noticed in the RV. True to their word, the product was water resistant upon application. By the end of the week we had received over 2" of rain and happily no water in the RV. Because of the wet and cooler weather it took a couple of weeks before the coating lost its tackiness and fully cured. It has been approximately 1 month since application and I am very pleased with the "Liquid Roof" and hoping for several leak free seasons. I highly recommend this "Liquid Roof". The additional money spent for this quality product is well worth the saving in time, frustration and multiple tubes of inferior sealers
I wanted to let a few months go by before I wrote back to you folks. It has been 6 months since the application went down. First I would like to say that I was very pleased with the level of service I received. I probably called your office about 7 or 8 times with questions but this was the first time I was using the product and it was a fairly large commercial roof. I did hire some general laborers and the product went down just like you indicated. I actually applied a smaller section of the roof with elastomeric before I ordered your product. So now I have to get the elastomeric off because it is already cracking in two seam areas. So short and sweet. We love the product, yes costs some money but factoring that we did not need a primer and there were not multiple coats like the systems I am familiar with it actually came in cheaper and the results were just outstanding. Lets get through the winter and our company will be ordering more.
I just wanted to send you a testimonial email about your product. We bought a '99 5th wheel only to find out that it had a leak 3 months later. I had to repair a section of the roof decking and replace a 3 foot section of the membrane leaving a seem on the roof. After making the repairs I coated the roof with liquid roof and waited until after we had a rain storm to send you this testimonial. I am happy to report that after an overnight rain storm that dumped over an inch of rain I went in the trailer to find it bone dry! The product was easy to apply and I have even used the left over material on a couple of other projects after placing it in the freezer for storage. I would recommend this product to all RV owners and will probably coat the roof of my next RV with it.

Sorry to split up the two messages but here is the after product. The roof looks new and I love it. You are welcome to use my info for any promo or anyone from Canada who is concerned about importing your products and the duty. Well worth every penny.
We retrieved the original pictures that we sent to you before beginning the project and took the after shots. There will be one more email sent to you, as all the pics wouldn't fit on one. You can see for yourself what a huge improvement we have. As I said on the phone, you folks did a great job and the product was perfect. Thanks for your help.

ABS Roof Repair with EPDM coating
- Clean ABS Roof thoroughly, I used a pressure washer.
- Carefully, slightly lift bad cracks that are delaminating from the foam top and spray some water into the cracks and secure with white Gorilla Glue. I used weights and tape to hold in place until it dried. (The moisture is needed for the Gorilla Glue.)
- Make slurry of MEK and plastic forks and spoons the consistency of heavy cream. (This takes about four hours for the plastic to dissolve.)
- Clean out large cracks on the camper roof with MEK and a toothbrush.
- Sanded large cracks to match roof then lightly sand the entire roof. Clean off sanding dust.
- Next mask off area that you do not want to coat.
- Next applied Primer 1501, bought from EPDM Coatings 1-610-298-1989. This is a two part primer, mix part A & B and paint entire top of camper. (Only mix one quart at a time as this will set up before you finish.) Let primer set for 24 hours.
- Sand any runs.
- Applied Propoly 9601, bought from EPDM Coatings 1-610-298-1989. This is a two part coating, mix part A & B and paint entire top of camper. (Only mix one quart at a time as this will set up before you finish.)
- In 24 hours it was unbelievable. It looked alike a new roof.
My name is Daniel Sims. My business partner and I recently went to San Diego for a working vacation. We put a new roof on my parents house using the liquid EPDM. We pressure washed the roof on July 10th and finished applying the Liquid EPDM on July 12.
There are several reasons for my letter here. I wanted to let you know how much I like the product! I can not understand why this is the first time I have been exposed to it when I have been in the construction business for close to 30 years. There are many, many times in the past when the liquid EPDM would have been a perfect solution on a project and I definitely plan on using it in the future!

Thank you for the time you spent with me on the telephone today. (Tuesday 16th August 2011) You have been very kind and helpful. As I mentioned on the telephone, the video of the 'Liquid Roof' product is a great comfort factor in my decision to purchase an RV, here in England.
Thanks for the info on maintaining the EPDM roof on my motor home. The original roof was 18 years old. It was not leaking but was getting thin and needed something to restore the integrity of the original roof. Great care was taken to prepare the roof for application of the liquid EPDM. It was applied with a brush and roller. It took about 2 hours to apply the EPDM. This was done in September 2010. I checked the roof today ( June 20th 2011) and it looks as though the EPDM was just applied 5 days ago. I wish that I had taken pictures before starting the project and then after finishing. Thanks for a great product and for the info on maintenance.
Kellie this was our 1984 trailer with a steel sheet roof, badly warn, old paint, old silicon, now sand blasted clean and 1 fresh rubber coating!
I did the rubber roofing project on my horse trailer this weekend, very happy with the results, The product is a lot thicker than I imaged but that is what I needed, a good thick product to cover well.
Definitely only needed one coat! Very happy with the results, attached are 2 pictures. (I believe you have the before pictures.) Also attached are pictures of my trailer finished on the outside you can use for you next broshure to get those horse people buying the product :)
I have "mis-placed" my receipt for a recent purchase of RV Roof Repair. Would you please email a copy to me.
BTW-Great Product! it went on well and the first rain storm, it proved its worth.
Thank you for your time
Just wanted to send some "before and after" photos....I am extremely pleased
with the liquid rubber. Great product so far.
Appreciate the consideration for the gift card.
Hi EPDM Coatings!!
We had an opportunity to apply your Liquid Roof product on the metal roof of our RV this weekend. I am very happy with the ease of application and the final smooth look of the roof once the self leveling and curing process began.
When I first started applying the liquid roof product ,being this was the first time I have used it, I was a bit concerned about running out of product and may have applied it a little too thinly .But as I used it more, I got used to how the product felt as it went on etc,
Just making good on my promise you said we would get a $25.00 AMEX gift certificate if we write something about the product. Well I would have done it for free but thanks for the $25.00. So for the past 7 months we kept seeing our waterline go down. We went to two pond shops and tried the crap they had there and nothing worked. Skeptical at this point your sales people really did not try to sell be but rather tell me about the product and why it would work. I really never knew there was a liquid version of the EPDM pond liners. Well it has been about three weeks and the level for the first time is holding. I wanted to make sure before I wrote this but in the past we knew within a few days that the other products did not work.
Too bad I did not know about this 7 months ago I could have saves about $150.00 on the snake oil products out there
I am sorry I am reaching out to you so late after using your product! I
never did take any good footage of applying the EPDM liner due to a rushed
job but have told many other companies about the product and will stand
behind it one hundred percent. It worked great for our application and was
easy to use. Once again I am sorry for not getting any footage but I hope to
continue to use your product in the future.

I'm just writting to say Thank you, I've receive th material on Sept the 2nd and I was very please with the product,. It arrived intact and I've started to apply it on my 5th wheeler roof. It is a thick paint but the coverage is amazing, I am very satisfied with the results.
I would like to thank the gentlemen who help me with my order, I can't remember is name but he was very helpful. I understand that delivery to Victoria,BC Canada was not the easiest thing but it when through, I am very ecstatic that it did.
Your product do not required a primer and it is less toxic then the products made available to me, I will recommend your product to a lot of people. If you send me your business card, I can post it here at Fort Victoria RV Park.
Hope you business prosper, my best regards,
I put on the rest of the liquid roof and it turned out really well. I am very pleased with how it turned out-should have no worries about any roof leaks in the for seeable future. I think your product is amazaing. I will not let a poor conditioned roof on an RV, keep me from buying it, as I know of a easy solution, that I can do.
This is my first RV. I have never coated a RV roof before, and having a shop do it seemed too expensive. Your product is not cheap, but I put on gallon on the edges and cut in the roof vents last weekend, so I got another 4 gallons today to do the rest this weekend. It has not been hard, I am hoping the longevity of the product will produce as advertised. I have told some of my RV friends about it and now they seem interested when they go to seal their roofs. Your videos on your sight really helped me decide, along with your responses to my email questions. One coat vs a primer and top coat was also attractive.
Hi Kellie! Thanks for your quick response to my questions.
Yes, please feel free to use my comments on your website. We will let you know next year how the Liquid Roof has held up to our -40 degree temperature Canadian winter! So far it is done its job and has sealed up the pinholes in the RV metal roof and the inside is as dry as Sahara sand storm !! No more water leaks !We had an opportunity to apply your Liquid Roof product on the metal roof of our RV this weekend. I am very happy with the ease of application and the final smooth look of the roof once the self leveling and curing process began.
When I first started applying the liquid roof product ,being this was the first time I have used it, I was a bit concerned about running out of product and may have applied it a little too thinly .But as I used it more, I got used to how the product felt as it went on etc, and started to be more liberal in its application. These sections of roof look smooth and even. Where I may have been a little stingy in the amount of product I used looks not as smooth as the other areas. So, my question is:
-can I apply a second coat of Liquid Roof to this area to get it to match the smoothness of the other areas?? If it is possible to do it, what prep work and steps do I need to take ??
We do have about a gallon of product left over from the large pail we ordered. We put this remainder in our deep freeze to stop the curing process. Was this an OK thing to do and should the product still be OK to use ?
I want to let you and anyone reading this know of my experience with Liquid Roof. I will tell you the end of the story and then go from there; FANTASTIC PRODUCT!!! (end of story!) I was pulling out of a RV slot that was a pull thru and found it was not quite a pull thru! The bubble/sky light over my shower was hit by a tree and while the bubble did not break it did crack around the base. I attempted an unsuccessful repair and found it leaked terribly. I goggled and searched for a fix and found EPDM Coatings.com. I was really skeptical and was honestly concerned that I would pay for a product and it either would not work or I d screw it up! Neither is true! IT IS SO EASY AND SO GREAT!!
I bought a one gallon Liquid Roof kit. I reseated the bubble (did not buy a new one !!) painted Liquid Roof around the entire base, placed the mesh material over the painted part and painted it again with the Liquid Roof. I repaired the rubber roof areas around the bubble that had ripped and then used the remaining gallon to paint every penetration on the roof.
We had 2.5 inches of rain in San Antonio in January and NONE of it was in my RV thanks to Liquid Roof. A couple of hints for anyone thinking about doing this; first DO IT!! IT WORKS!! AND IT IS EASY!! Next, before you start get some old clothes on, some rubber gloves and I would tape off the gutters so that it does not drip into the gutter. Overall this is a FANTASTIC PRODUCT!!!

It was about this time of year in 2004 that I contacted you about your product. We had suffered substantial hurricane damage in August 2004. Materials and contractors were in very short supply for many months after the storm. I had a flat roof on the back of my home that needed a new hot tar roof but no one was available to do the job and wouldn't be for several months. In the meantime water was pouring through the ceiling of our lanai each time it rained.
I remember our conversation well. You were very courteous and helpful in describing what your product could do for me. You agreed to sell me your commercial product for dealer price due to our special
situation. Your guidance in applying the product was most helpful.
It was a breeze to put on. I had every intention of sending you before and after photos but things were hectic then.
It is five years later and your product is still doing the job. We have not had to have the roof replaced. I would highly recommend your product to anyone with a problem with a flat roof.
Please accept my belated thank you for your very fine service and product.

After months of trying to decide between a competitors product or a repair or replacement of my flat rubber roof on my garage. I decided to try you "Liquid Rubber." I am so glad I did! It turned out wonderful! Far better than I would have expected! I am very thankful I chose your product and cannot believe I was even considering another competitors "system". So glad I didn't! Easy to mix and easy to apply! It worked great and completely fixed my leaking roof in one shot! The three white five gallons cost me less than $1000.00. Compare that to a new rubber roof installed at a cost of over $8,000.00 or a "professional" repair at around $5-6,000!
I can't say enough about the quality! I did use "Eterna-Bond" tape on the many loose seams. I think that was very helpful. I also really made sure I cleaned the roof first with my pressure washer and cleaning solution.
I am attaching several photos at various stages (dates on photo). And you can see how nice it turned out. The amazing "bubbling" has almost gone.
Thanks for a fantastic product that really works!
In January we purchased your liquid roof material and applied it per your instructions. We wanted to wait a few months and we very impressed with the product and told several people about it. At the time I ordered I was told we would receive a $50.00 gift certificate for some before and after pictures which we have attached. The results speak for themselves.
We had been told by several RV shops that there was no other option than installing a new roof for approx $5,200.00 Your product was a real boon for us! Our motorhome is an an older model and we were not willing to put that kind of money into it. So this remedy was great

I ordered a gallon of Liquid Rubber last summer, and inquired if it could be spread with an adhesive applicator trowel; the sales person was not aware of this having been tried. I tried using a commercially available trowel with 4 sawtooth teeth per inch, and 0.135 inch notch depths, holding the trowel at about a 45 degree tilt. This worked great, and spread the liquid at exactly the recommended rate. The trowel is followed by a brush or roller to level the liquid.
My application is to repair the seams on an EPDM roof; the seams are weathering much faster than the roofing membrane. After wire brushing and vacuuming the areas to be repaired, the new coating is well adhered, smooth, and continuous, and, AFTER A YEAR AND A HALF THE ROOF LOOKS BRAND NEW! I just ordered two more gallons.

I applied the liquid rubber to the roof of our camper and after a few minutes it started to bubble up. Whats going on? What do you guys think? Thanks Mickey. Bubbling is normal. It is part of the curing process. Normally it will take anywhere from 5-10 days for all the bubbling to cure. Hey, You were correct. I went on the roof this morning and was amazed. It looks great. Thanks for the help. The product is amazing!
Lou, I promised I would e-mail you guys what we thought of your product either way. Well I must say you were right about everything it claimed. We were more than pleased with the performance of the product. We were concerned with the cost but after seeing how thick it is and the fact that it required no primers or additional coats the cost actually was cheaper that other systems. We hired some general laborers to do the work and saved $3,500.00 to boot! Great service. We have another job coming up in May and we will definitely be reordering
In September we ordered the liquid roof from your company for our motorhome. Let me tell you, the liquid roof is a superior product, course you already know that. We just wanted to tell you that we are extremely satisfied with the performance of application and the final result. So far -so good

We had been looking for a roofing coating for some time. We ordered a gallon in the summer to test it out on our roof, part epdm and part metal. After our initial testing we were quite amazed with the performance of the product. This is the only product that had stopped our leak, and in fact the first time in 4 years the roof did not leak. We since then completed our entire roof and saved several thousand dollars by hiring some general laborers to apply the material along with some people who work in our warehouse. This is the first time that I took the time to write a compliment but you guys asked if the product did what it said it would to let us know so I am glad to do so. Great product and great customer service!

A friend of mine gave me a gallon of the Liquid Rubber he had left over after I complained to him about a chronic leak on my roof. Although my roofer did some patch work, I still had water coming in when the rain was heavy. Well I tried the Liquid Rubber in the area where the water was coming from.
That was six months ago. Today, all is dry. I have to thank my friend for introducing me to this great product.

Below are before and after photos on my recent installation of liquid roof. I am very pleased with the results. It was about three hours of work not including prep, but the results speak for themselves.
I am not one to write and say thank you. But, I must say this stuff is great. Your liquid roof is FANTASTIC :)
I had my doubts, and wasn't sure if I was applying it right, but, it has truned out to be superb. I did manage to get it on my pants. But that is hardly a fault of the product. Excellent product and thank you. I expect my sunroom with the shallow roof is loving it too.

I just wanted to forward to you a
copy of an email I recently sent to a customer service representative
I spoke with when purchasing your product. I was faced with
a $7,000 dollar roof replacement esitimate for my 26.5 ft.
class C motor home. I thought for sure my RVing days were
over. As DIYer, I was extremely pleased with your product.
It has done everything you said it would. From the point
of a motor home owner who was shocked with a $7,000 roof
repair estimate. My roof looks brand new and has a seamless
finish that looks like I will be leak free for years to
come. Thanks for a product that performed as promised and
is well within the capabilities of a determined RV Owner

I usually don't take the time to
email companies about their service, but I definitely felt
the need to for your company. You have a great product and
your customer service and shipping speed are second to none!.......Kellie......feel
free to use my comments on your site....I'll be ordering
Had to forward a
comment about how happy I am with your product. The order
I received back in March of this year worked so well that
I decided that it would be the perfect solution to a problem
I'm having on another project, so I've ordered 2 additional
gallons of your Black Liquid Rubber (everyone who has seen
this stuff is also amazed!). Once again, great product!

Kellie, Thanks for all your assistance over the past two
months. We have finally got around to getting the product
on a job and were very impressed overall with it. Solid
performance and just a remarkable finish when it dried.
Just what you said a 100% seamless area.
We have been doing metal roofs for about 12 years
now and I think we found the product to end all. Great
staff who walked us through our first roof. We had a 25,000
sq ft flat roof, mostly metal with some rusting and areas
where the vents were covered with a hot tar application.
We brushed on an elastomeric coating on the tar areas
and on the heavily rusted areas covered them with a metal
primer. By the way the product is nice to work with. Given
the 8 hour timeframe you have to work with, our guys didn't
have to rush. Not the case with some of the other products
out there where the set up is real quick. We were quite
amazed with the appearance. It looks like someone put
a 25,000 sq ft piece of sheet epdm on our roof. We'll
I was going to install a regular rubber roof when I saw
your product. It would save a lot of work. I ordered a
gallon to try and your product was just what you said
it was. It went on easy with the squeegie and evened itself
to a beautiful coating. It looks and feels like it will
last a long time.I am ordering a second gallon to finish
I had a contractor build a patio cover out of cedar and
4x4 glass panes. He never could get the roof to stop leaking
though he used several products. Water would eventually
always leak somewhere around the joint of the glass and
the tin lip he had laid the glass in. I just applied your
product and am confident I finally found the right sealant
to stop the leaks. I can BBQ in the dry for once without
drips all over the patio roof. Great product! I just wanted
to drop a line about your product.

Everyone was SUPER helpful and knew the product, properties
and application methods well. I applied to product on
the trailer in about a 2-hour period one evening. It was
tricky with the application, from a novice who had not
done this before, on the flat surface as well as rounding
the corners and down on the sides about 6 inches. It went
GREAT! Needless to say, I am super proud of the product
and the finished job. I cannot thank your folks enough
for the support and quality of the product. Excellent.
Coming from a process management philosophy and background,
it leads me to be extra thankful for outstanding processes
with outstanding people. Thanks again,
Here is what I say about my finished product now.... "No
drips, no runs, no errors!"

Donna, your staff and your customer service is the reason
we buy from you. You had asked us several months ago if
we would write up something for your Website. We wanted
to get some additional orders first before coming to conclusions.
We have ordered over 1000 gallons this year and the product
truly lives up to its name. We have won three bids using
your product because of our ability to stand behind our
work. Your staff has always been there for questions, handling
returns and the voice of reason when our installers call.
Thanks for the visit. Sorry I wasn't there but at least
you got the fifty cent tour.

We have completed the resurfacing of our commercial roof
back in April and ordered a few more pails for areas where
we probably did not apply it thick enough. Just wanted to
share these photos with you. We have received several quotes
for our 25,000 ft roof and after all was said and done managed
to get it done for under $21,000 with you guys. Great product
as you can see it came out wonderful and you were dealing
with a skeptic.
Here is a picture of our finished roof. We were very happy
with the end result. You
have a great product here and we will be ordering for future
jobs we have. We were a bit skeptical at first but when
it was fully dry it looked as if we installed a new 1500
sq piece of sheet EPDM.

First I would like to thank you again for all the help!
After talking to a few RV dealers, most of them recommended
putting a roof conditioner on to retreat the roof even though
the black rubber roof was showing through. I decided to
call and talk to you all. After my conversation with you
all, it was recommended that I use a product called Streak
Master. This product prepares the roof for sealing. It removes
all the dirt and paint chalking. I washed the roof with
the Streak Master and left it dry for one
I followed the directions that I received with the Liquid
Roof. After mixing the material, I used a squeegee and short
nap roller and paint brush to apply the liquid roof. The
material went on fairly easy , it took about 2 hours to
apply the material. I'm very happy with the end result.
It looks like I have a new roof on my trailer. Now I don't
have to worry about the rain finding a way into the trailer
and ruining our contents. I'm very please to know the Liquid
Roof should last about 10 to 15 years. I would be glad to
endorse this product if anyone would have any questions
about it. It has been a please dealing with your company.
